Clausewitz on politicsGreat attention is given to Clausewitz's view on war as a continuation of politics by different means. It is more interesting, however, to take note that for Clausewitz political objectives, rather than purely military considerations, should be given priority in war. Even more important is to perceive that what Clausewitz said about war is methodologically valid for politics, most of all for the conceptualization of politics.
