Open-access PROBLEMS OF METHOD IN GEOGRAPHY, THROUGH THE SARTREAN STRABISMUS

CUESTIONES DE MÉTODO EN GEOGRAFÍA, POR EL ESTRABISMO SARTREANO

Abstract

Method's reflection is revisited owing to the problematic horizon of coloniality that traces scientific Geography, which questions the validity of its tradition in view of the need to re-discuss its bases. The paper resorts to the Knowledge-Existence dialectic, as placed in its práxis by the thought of Jean-Paul Sartre, as a strategy to problematize the epistemological and ontological issues that are involved in the challenges of contemporary Geography.
