Abstract
The Brazilian Federal Government's Bolsa Atleta Program is a direct support policy for athletes with recognized importance and serves as a reference for the creation of similar actions at the state level. This study aims to examine such similar actions carried out by the Brazilian federative units, observing the duration of existence, scholarship amount, guiding legal instruments, the number of beneficiaries in the last valid call, and any specificities. To achieve this, descriptive exploratory research was conducted, using a qualitative methodology to analyze the documents found on the websites of the responsible state entities. Actions were identified in 25 federative units, with the lack of coordination between policies and discrepancies in scholarship amounts being highlighted as the main areas for improvement.
