Editorial
With this last issue of 2004, that completes the first year of bimonthly publication of the journal, I close my contribution as Editor in Chief of the Neotropical Entomology. I am sincerely grateful for the support and confidence the SEB directory always offered me, for the valuable collaboration and friendship of the Editorial Board and ad hoc reviewers, all contributions of the authors and useful suggestions of everyone.
I am also glad to inform that the international diffusion of our journal was significantly extended with its recent insertion in the ISI - Science Citation Index and Current Contents/Agriculture, Biology and Environmental Sciences, thus providing higher visibility and worldwidedissemination of our research.
I wish great success to the new Editor in Chief, Regina Sugayama, and her team and to all of you a Happy 2005.
