ABSTRACT
After almost three decades of reforms in its administrative and judicial enforcement procedures, the Brazilian anti-corruption system is characterized for its institutional multiplicity, where many institutions with concurrent and complementary competences can act against the same corruption case. This paper presents the anti-corruption system and describes the enforcement process in four categories: monitoring, investigation, adjudication and sanctioning. Finally, the paper highlights some of the mechanisms of institutional coordination as well as challenges for its implementation.
