ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the actions of the Parliamentary Front of Terreiros in the National Congress between the 54th and 55th legislatures in order to reflect on modalities of public insertion of Afro-Brazilian religious in politics. I attended events to launch the Front in Brasília and conducted interviews with its articulators and deputies. The defense of freedom and the struggle for recognition crosses its different formations.
