ABSTRACT
Beginning from the presentation of the three different forms of state activism in Brazil throughout the twenties and twenties one, this paper aims to analyze the industrial policy formulation and implementation processes in the renewed state activism of the last twenty years. It argues in favor of a selective industrial policy, capable of innovation and productivity dissemination throughout all sectors.
