Mineiridade and Mineira Heritage: Instituto Moreira Salles, Foundation and Early Years (1989-95)

ABSTRACT

I propose a reflection on the main characteristics of the protagonists in the creation and development of the Moreira Salles Institute, in Poços de Caldas, between 1989 and 1995, analyzed mainly as a group of intellectuals and well-known people from Minas Gerais, very experienced in the period of the country’s redemocratization.
