La reconnaissance de la psychoéducation par la Faculté des Arts et des Sciences de l'Université de Montréal comme une nouvelle discipline a demandé d'établir clairement ses différences avec la Psychologie. La présentation orale qui a servi à en faire la preuve en 1971 devant le conseil de cette Faculté est transcrite ici dans un caractère plus gros. Le texte rédigé dans un caractère plus petit ne faisait pas partie des explications offertes aux universitaires. Il est ajouté par la rédaction de la revue pour aider les lecteurs à saisir davantage la signification de la présentation tout en précisant des éléments du cadre de référence de la psychoéducation qui ont continué d'évoluer dans la lancée du début avec la recherche et l'observation de l'expérience.

The recognition of Psychoeducation by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the Montreal University as a new discipline occured after distinction with Psychology was clearly established. The oral presentation that gave support to prove this in 1971 in front of the Faculty Counsil is now presented here, in its general format. This new text, written with all its details, isn't the same offered to the students in the university. The explanations added by the journal have the objectif of showing all the importance of this presentation and so the context of Psycholeducation is given, even knowing that its evolution continues due in part to research and experience observation.

Le présent texte vise à présenter de manière schématique un ensemble de repères cliniques permettant de guider l'intervention en négligence, intervention qui exige des connaissances multiples concernant le développement socio-affectif de l'enfant et les déterminants du parentage. Afin de bien cerner les aspects importants de l'aide et du soutien à donner aux parents et aux enfants vivant cette problématique, il nous apparaît nécessaire de faire le point sur les principaux éléments du lien parent-enfant impliqués dans la négligence. Trois dimensions du lien parent-enfant seront examinées afin de faire ressortir les particularités de la conduite parentale négligente et de l'expérience subjective de l'enfant négligé: les dimensions comportementale, psychologique et environnementale. Ces dimensions sont interreliées et organisées de façon hiérarchique.

This text has as its main objectif to present, in a summarized way, some clinical references able to guide the intervention in neglect problems, intervention that exiges multiple knowledges about infant's social and affective development, as about parenting determinants. It is necessary to emphasize the main elements of parent-child attachment that are present in neglect problems so it could be possible to give some informatins about important aspects of help. Three dimensions are examined in parent-child attachment with the focus on neglect behaviour of the parents and what is experienced by the child in this situation: behavioural, psychological and environmental. These dimensions are interelated and organized in a hierarchical way.

O nascimento de uma criança deficiente traz nova realidade à família. O objetivo foi apreender quais reações, explicações, sentimentos e expectativas as mães exprimiam frente à notícia da deficiência do filho. A amostra caracterizou-se por 25 mães encaminhadas ao Aconselhamento Genético da FMRP- USP, entrevistadas individualmente sobre um roteiro semi-estruturado. Delas, 38% estavam entre 20/25 anos e Iº grau incompleto (71 %). As crianças 52% com até 1 ano. Os diagnósticos: 24% Síndrome de Down e 20% sem diagnóstico. Os dados - Análise de Conteúdo Temática - demonstraram que ao receberem a notícia as mães ficaram chocadas. Manifestaram sentimentos de negação, tristeza, resignação, revolta. Explicaram a problemática cientificamente e por crendices populares. Negaram a deficiência. Apresentaram expectativas à cura. Independente da problemática, a notícia choca. Há dificuldade em aceitar o diagnóstico e constante busca de cura. Os profissionais devem conhecer as condições emocionais lidando, assim, efetivamente com a realidade de cada família.

The born of child with disability give new reality to the family. The objective of this study was to determine the reactions, explanations, feelings and expectations the mothers present when notificated of the children disability. The study was conducted on twenty five mothers referred to the Genetic Counseling of the Faculty of Medicine de Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo. We used a semi-structural questionnaire. About the mothers, 38% aged between 20 to 25 years-old and 71% first incomplete degree. The children, 52% less than one year-old. Their diagnosis were 24% Down's Syndrome and 20% didn't have diagnosis. The data - qualitative analysis - demonstrated the emotional impact of the news was found to be as strong as a shock. Denial, sadness, resignation and revolt were some of the feelings experienced by the mothers. The explanation of the disability was from scientific aspects to popular belief. They expected theirs sons to be cured. Independently to the problem, the notification was the shock. To the mothers was difficult to accepted the diagnosis and found the cure indefatigably. The professionals have to known this emotional conditions to work effectively with the reality of every family.

O paciente que se submeterá ao transplante de medula óssea (TMO) permanece internado em uma enfermaria onde, além de cuidados especiais, necessita de um acompanhante em tempo integral. Sobre esta pessoa, em quem já pesou o impacto do diagnóstico e a decisão do transplante, agora recai a responsabilidade de auxiliar o paciente no seu tratamento. Na tentativa de amenizar as angústias desencadeadas por esse processo no acompanhante do transplantado foi instituído, na Unidade de TMO do Hospital das Clínicas de Ribeirão Preto, um grupo de apoio psicológico. O presente estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de descrever o processo grupai e averiguar os seus efeitos nos acompanhantes. O corpus foi constituído por 40 sessões, transcorridas no período de seis meses, envolvendo 17 participantes. Estas sessões foram transcritas e analisadas de acordo com uma abordagem qualitativa, aplicando-se uma análise de conteúdo temática nos segmentos dos relatos verbais. O material foi submetido à avaliação independente de dois juizes. Os resultados apontam a efetividade do grupo como recurso para apoio psicológico, uma vez que permite aos acompanhantes compartilharem suas emoções com pessoas que vivenciam uma situação semelhante, ao mesmo tempo em que se sentem compreendidos e amparados por um profissional da equipe.

The patient who will go through a BMT stays in a ward where, besides special care, he needs a full-time caregiver. The diagnosis impact and the decision to have the transplantation done have already weighted, and weighted a lot on this person and now he has to cope with all the responsibility that comes on him. Aiming to relief the caregiver anguish unchained by the BMT process, a psychological supportive group was established, at BMT Unit at Hospital das Clínicas, in Ribeirão Preto (Brazil). In order to describe the group process and check its effects on caregivers, the present study was carried out. The corpus was formed by 40 sessions, developed in a period of six months and having 17 participants. These sessions were transcribed and analyzed in a qualitative approach. Further, a thematic content analysis was applied to the oral report segments. The material was submitted to two, independently, judge evaluation. The results show effectiveness of the group as a psychological support resource, once the group allows caregivers to share their emotions with people who go through similar situation and at the same time they feel understood and supported by the professional staff.

A partir das concepções de Donald Schön sobre a formação do professor como prático reflexivo, os princípios de trabalho com pequenos grupos, baseados nas concepções de J. L Moreno, foram utilizados com o objetivo de facilitar o processo de reflexão sobre suas práticas de sala de aula, com seis professores do Ensino Fundamental. Foram realizados nove encontros de 90 a 120 minutos de duração. Nas discussões, os casos dos alunos mais problemáticos quanto ao seu comportamento foram trazidos pelos professores e analisados pelo grupo a luz das concepções da Pragmática da Comunicação Humana. Como resultado destas discussões, os professores foram levados a considerar os aspectos mais latentes, e portanto significantes, de suas relações com os alunos. Estas reflexões conduziram a uma "resignificação" das mesmas, com efeitos surpreendentes sobre os comportamentos dos alunos.

Starting from Donald Schön's conceptions about the teachers' formation as practical reflective practitioner, the principle of small groups work based on J. L. Moreno conceptions they were used with the objective of facilitating the reflection process on its practices of classroom, with six teachers of the Elementary School. Nine encounters were accomplished of 90 to 120 minutes of duration. In the discussions, the most problematic students' cases with relationship to its behavior, they were brought by the teachers and analyzed by the group the light of the conceptions of the Pragmatic of the Human Communication. As a result of these discussions, the teachers were taken it they consider the most latent aspects, and therefore significant, of its relationships with the students. These reflections drove to «re-signification» of these relationships, with surprising effects about the students' behaviors.

A teoria da aprendizagem social sugere que a aquisição da identidade de gênero é o resultado de um processo evolutivo. Os pais são apontados como os maiores responsáveis pela aquisição da identidade e dos estereótipos de papel de gênero de seus filhos. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar a influência da socialização primária na construção da identidade de gênero das crianças, através das percepções dos pais. Foram entrevistados 11 pais, 9 mulheres e 2 homens, com idade entre 23 e 40 anos. Os resultados demonstram que a influência dos pais é sutil e que suas crenças sobre papel de gênero determinam diferentes expectativas com relação aos seus filhos e filhas, bem como influenciam o comportamento expresso pelas crianças.

Social learning theory suggests that gender identity and sex role stereotypes are outcomes of the developmental process. The influence of the parental socialization about the acquisition of gender identity is considered extremely important. The purposes of the present study were to investigate how parents perceive their influence on this developmental process. Nine mothers and two fathers were interviewed. The results indicate that parental beliefs about sex roles determine different behavioral expectations for sons and daughters and give different patterns of responses to them.

O trabalho tem como objetivo estudar famílias de migrantes residentes em dois bairros de Sertãozinho, no estado de São Paulo, que trabalham na lavoura da cana-de-açúcar. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com dez famílias, que foram gravadas e transcritas na íntegra e através da observação participante. O trabalho procura mostrar como se dá a adaptação dos'migrantes no meio urbano e as condições de vida de suas famílias. Para isso, examina-se a contribuição do trabalho das esposas, como geradoras de rendimentos e produtoras de serviços domésticos, essenciais para a reprodução social e biológica dos integrantes da unidade doméstica, bem como a importância da rede de relações constituída por parentes e vizinhos que prestam vários tipos de ajuda às famílias.

The objective of the present investigation was to study families of migrants residing in two neighborhoods of Sertãozinho, in the state of São Paulo, who work in sugar cane fields. Data were collected by interviewing ten families and the interviews were taped and transcribed completely. Also, data were collected by participant observation. The study was an attempt to show how the migrants adapt to the urban medium and the living conditions of their families. We also examined the contribution of the work of their wives, as generators of income and as producers of domestic services essential for the social and biological reproduction of the members of the domestic unit, as well as the importance of the network of relations consisting of relatives and neighbors that give several types of aid to the families.

Este trabalho tem como temática principal a bioética aplicada à atuação de profissionais de saúde no contexto hospitalar. Tem como objetivo principal apresentar e discutir aspectos das condutas dos profissionais de saúde junto a pacientes hospitalizados e seus acompanhantes, e de conjunturas da instituição hospitalar, que ferem os aspectos éticos no trato com os usuários. Esta instituição utiliza-se das contribuições da ciência, do saber médico e do avanço da tecnologia para melhorar a assistência destinada à população em geral, mas nem sempre consegue reunir avanço técnico competente e assistência humanizada. Pretende-se, ainda, apresentar e discutir que implicações tem a interdisciplinaridade sobre o campo da bioética no trabalho hospitalar.

The main theme of this work is the bioethics applied to the performance of health professionals within a hospital. Its objective is to introduce and discuss aspects of health professionals attitudes towards hospitalized patients and their companions ; also the state of affairs of the hospital institution which damages the ethic aspects on the users treatment. This institution uses the contributions of Science in general, of medical knowledge and of the advancement of technology in order to improve the assistence given to the population that makes use of its services. However it is not always possible to join competent technical advance and humanized assistence. This paper intends too to present and discuss the interdisciplinary implications in the field of bioethics in hospital work.
