This paper discusses the mediation of literature and librarian involvement in promoting reading and in the formation of readers. By analyzing characters posture, Totonha, Candinha, Francisco, Michael Berger, Hanna Schmitz, Liesel Meminger and Max Vandenburg, highlights the enchantment of the reader-listener in the moment of oral narratives. In addition, concludes that the narrators and readers of literary texts, can, inter alia, bring the individual of their culture, encouraging the exchange of experiences and knowledge transfer, support the reader emotionally, provide your personal knowledge, but also be a source of pleasure.
