The interprofessional education in educational Psychology: student's perspectives

Regarding the current discussions on the undergraduate curriculum in Psychology and the practical experience developed in the context of SUS (Unique Health System), the interprofessional education (IPE) is a proposal to transform future health professionals´ education and to promote a change in the health care culture. In this sense, the aim of this study is to analyze the interprofessional education proposal of the Pedagogical Political Project at the campus Baixada Santista - UNIFESP as regards the educational psychology. This is a qualitative and quantitative research that used the Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale (RIPLS) and secondary data analysis. The study of the secondary data when analyzing the results of the questionnaire revealed that students recognized the importance of interprofessional education for the psychologist´s education in the teamwork, this concept built in the field of interprofessional education, and the need to reinforce their professional identity by the proposed interprofessional pedagogical teaching. The relevance of interprofessional education in the undergraduation course of Psychology for health care was acknowledged considering that it improves the competencies related to collaborative practices, interprofessional communication and care to the individual in the integrative perspective.
