Subjectivity, teaching and learning: cultural-historical approach in academic works

This article is a result of a bibliographical research held in stricto sensu post-graduation programs in Psychology and Education whose object of study is the academic production focusing on the relationship among subjectivity, teaching and learning in Basic Education. The paper favors the identification of theoretical referential of this production. It aims to analyze those studies that approach the cultural-historical conception of subjectivity of Fernando González Rey, who is the guide of this study. Among the 86 papers that presented the topic under study, from 2003-2007, 34 ones referred to the cultural-historical perspectives. Analysis reveals the difficulty of clear identification of benchmarks and authors, or by lack of explanation or by the diversity of references and authors cited. The works considered in a historical-cultural approach put in focus relevant issues related to the reading of the subjective processes articulated with teaching and learning, consistent with the demands of school nowadays.
