Health goes to school: health promotion in pedagogical practices

In Brazil, the health education actions for school children were present in official speeches from 1889, and currently, the issue of health in the school traces its relevance worldwide, because the role of schools in health related issues is undeniable. The goal of the paper is to analyze the input of health in schools and classify them as teaching practices. From there, see if they align with the prospect of Health Promotion. The methodological approach used in this article is to present the scientific mosaic scenes of everyday health actions and thus allow the construction of an overview of what happens when health goes to school. We conclude that health actions performed in schools and change the dynamic school that some actions are close to the concept of health promotion strategies.
