Application of the fourier transform infrared spectroscopy for isomeric characterization of hydroxy-terminated polybutadienes used in the synthesis of polymers pu-propellants

ABSTRACT: The configurational isomers distribution of HTPB polyols used in the manufacture of propellants was determined by FTIR employing the techniques of analysis in solution and the method developed in this paper, using FTIR analysis by liquid film. There are good agreement between these two results and both also agree with those obtained by ¹H NMR.
