The cure reaction kinetics of epoxy resins has been the object of many studies during the last decades. The cure process parameters can be obtained by using isothermal and dynamic differential scanning calorimetry analysis (DSC). The choice of the most suitable method depends on the requirements established by the researcher regarding the extent of the reaction. The main objective of the present work is to provide guidelines for the most appropriate method to be used in cure kinetics studies of epoxy matrix systems.
