Copy, paste and delete: the internet and the concept of "semiformation" nowadays

In the so-called society of the microelectronic revolution it is possible to access and maintain indefinitely information and images produced daily by the mass media. In fact, the digital memory allows contacting data in an increasingly fast speed. But what implications could be noticed within the educational dimension due to this fact? Could the access to this kind of information and these images result in the cultural formation, as named by Theodor W. Adorno? Within this context, the aim of this article is to reflect on how contemporary the concept of semiformation is , as elaborated by Adorno in the middle of the twentieth century, in a society whose way of information and images access is mainly made by the so-called concentrated distraction.
