ABSTRACT
This article aims to present doctoral research that sought to analyze the applicability and impressions of the creative methodology of psychodrama within the perspective of the workshops of the Service of Protection and Comprehensive Care to the Family within the scope of the Unified Social Assistance System. The research was carried out with eight psychodramatists from four different Brazilian states, through narrative interviews. The results reveal positive repercussions for the use of psychodrama with groups, as well as challenges for its promotion and acceptance in the field of Social Assistance. It is concluded that psychodrama is a group intervention path for the social assistance professional who aims for a transformation in the social and personal scope of the protagonist users.
