DAILY LIFE OF A FORMLESS URBAN EXPERIENCE: LACERATIONS, TRAJECTORIES AND POLITICS OF THE COMMON

Abstract

The text proposes to establish articulations between the daily life and the forms of urban experimentation derived from it. For this, using authors like Michel de Certeau, Michel Blanchot and other, make a counterpoint and opposition between a notion of everyday as a routin, serene and finished existence and other forms of conceptual apprehension that bet on the power to invent it and do it in diverse, paradoxical and formless processes. As demonstrative of them, we resort to an image of the daily life of a Brazilian city. As a conclusion, it is suggested to posit the urban experience from the paradoxes of that daily formless and ordinarily common, effected in the tears, tremors and vertigo of the instituted ways of use, consumption and appropriation of life, of the city and its stories.
