ABSTRACT
The modestly reflection propose in this article aims to shed light on the possibility of a hermeneutics of the Jubilee Year as an authentic theological phenomenology of Hope. The center of the reflection is the recovery of the Creator’s kind gaze as a light that illuminates every creature. In this sense, the challenge of sanctifying existence, a special possibility offered by the Jubilee Year, consists in recovering within ourselves the merciful and hopeful gaze of the Creator who constantly sees the beauty of creation. Making the transition from simple expectation to the theological act of Hope implies going beyond our gaze of phenomenological justice, which sees strictly what appears to us from the superficial light of the world. This is the daily task, a condition for the possibility of reconciliation between the creature and its Creator.
