Psychometric properties of anomie, alienation and moral development in a sample of high school students

The study presents the psychometric properties of the scales of social anomie, psychological anomie, alienation and moral development. The sample consisted of 520 students of different grades of Bachelor Degrees of Sonora, Mexico. The validity was performed through the method of construct validity. Factor analysis was performed using the technique of principal components and varimax rotation. Five instruments that assess social stability and confidence regarding the rules imposed by society and moral development were subjected to analysis. We obtained valid and reliable instruments that will allow for future research building relationships that help detect crime indicators in a population at risk as well, to see if this social imbalance stems from a perception anomic institutions.
