Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to analyze the concept of micropolitics in Deleuze and Guattari A thousand plateaus: capitalism and schizophrenia exploring possibilities for its use. The paper focuses on chapter 9 of the book, analyzed in its three sections, and seek to follow the construction of concept and its difficulties, particularly the dualism that accompanies it. In this analysis we dialogue both with critical texts and texts associated with Deleuze and Guattari's ideas, presenting elements for understanding the philosophical project that sustains deleuzoguattarian discussion. It is emphasized, as a start point, that micro and macro politics differ from each other, but are inseparable. On this basis we suggest a reading of these concepts in the field of public policy, focusing on their articulation rather than overestimating micropolitics. The spread of certain "neo-moralist" use of these concepts in much of the literature is recognized, which is criticized by several authors. We value heuristic fertility of the concepts given the current depletion of analysis that exclusively focus on macropolicy.
