Open-access Elderly patients with glioblastoma: the impact of the surgical resection extent on survival

    Question: What are the results (overall survival time) according to the tumor resection extent?

    Answer: The mean combined overall survival time (COS) was 13.13 months in patients in whom total resection was possible, 7.52 months in those who underwent partial resection, and 2.56 months in patients who underwent biopsy alone.1
