From our experience like Pensar a Prática Review's editors, the article analyses some challenges of publishing work, talking simultaneously about daily difficulties and the influences of scientific policies on this work. The exclusive adoption of quantitative criteria, the use of bibliometric parameters from foreign index for evaluation of scientific performances, and the functional dependence progressive of the scientific communities of these mechanisms, with leniency of many researches, are the main elements point out to understanding this scenario.
