School experiences and biographization device: towards building biographical competencies

This research presents a device whose source lies in issues related to my teaching practice. Such device uses biographical research contributions in an educational institution that currently questions itself to find out whether, for youths considered in distress, reporting school experience is a mediation capable of enabling them to build a student self-image that makes an acceptable commitment and therefore the least possible violent of their different identifications. The device observes whether the biographization process fosters the constitution of a working community by recognizing the singularities of group members and their trajectories. The device also observes whether it can contribute to modify the relation with knowledge and the attitude towards the learning of certain young people in distress in a school setting that makes them objects, thanks to the construction of the sense of their paths.
