Technology as a reference to scholar knowledges: theoretical perspectives and teacher's conceptions

This paper discusses the technology education in High School and aims to identify the perception of high school teachers of the area known as "natural sciences, mathematics and their technologies" about this matter. It has been observed that their comprehension is not clear and there is some confusion between applied science and technology. A theoretical approach of the technology as a scientific study of the artificial is also presented.
