Raspberry is an economically important berry crop; its fruit contains numerous phenolic compounds with potential health benefits. But when grown in subtropical regions has problems with post-harvest decay. The objective of this study was to verify quality raspberries with and without plastic covering over the canopy in different spacing (3 x 0.50 m e 3 x 0.25 m). Were evaluated: assessed the color of the fruit, the amount of anthocyanins, Vitamin C, ash, moisture, soluble solids, sugars, acidity, firmness, rust incidence in fruits and mineral composition (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, boron, copper, manganese, zinc and iron). At the end it was observed that plants on 3 x 0.25 m spacing and with plastic covering over the canopy increase the quality of raspberries.
