The technique of plants production by table grafting is the main form of grapevine plants production in France. The use of this technique with the production of high quality rootstocks and buds in registered nurseries, environmental control of stratification, application of phythormones and modern cultivation practices, have improved the performance of plants growth and increased the product quality. The techniques used on the several phases of plants production in France are showed in this article and their uses in Brazilian conditions are discussed.
