The constitution of Latin American training projects for Physical Education (1944-1952)

Abstract:

The research analyzes the devices used by the periodic teaching and technical press to constitute training projects for Physical Education based on Latin American cultural specificities. It has as source the Revista Brasileira de Educação Física (1944-1952) and uses as a theoretical-methodological assumption the concept of analysis by materiality. The sources point to the editorial strategies that have expanded the circulation of the journal internationally, materializing it as a space for exchange between the writers dedicated to the problems of the field of professional performance. The publication of didactic guidelines, the dissemination of Congresses, training courses and the offer of scholarships consolidated the cooperation campaign between Brazil and neighboring countries.
