The hemangioma is the most common tumor of the vascular origin, benign, frequently observed in children, and with preference for head and neck, but rarely has uvular origin. In this organ, it presents potential risk of local trauma and hemorrhage. The present article reports a case of hemangioma of uvula in adult with progressive oropharyngeal dysphagia and sensation of foreign body in the throat, treated with success by surgical resection of the tumor using radio frequency cautery.
