Psicoanalytical comprehension of the contents of a mental derangement

Abstract

We decided to study a delirant and allucinatory syndrome. With this object in mind, we used the Rorschach Psychodiagnostics, the Multiphacetic Stock of Personality from Minnessota, the Apperception Tematic Test (A. T. T.), the Determined Associations Test and the Free Association Test. On exploring the psychodinamics we found out the presence of Oedipus complex as a central element of its psychological structure. This fact contributes to the enlightening of the clinical vivid description of a patient and his adequate therapeutic action.
