Abstract
A century of socialist revolution and a century of historiography, of controversies, passionate discussions, but also a great deal of research. The aim of this article is to discuss some of the main historiographical controversies, using the concept of historical revisionism to illuminate the main cycles of intellectual production on October 1917.
