Abstract
This article aims to analyze the conditions of incarceration of the LGBT population in Rio de Janeiro from the perspective of Critical Queer Criminology. Reports from criminal enforcement institutions were analyzed, as well as the jurisprudence of the TJRJ, STJ and STF. Despite the small amount of data obtained, it was possible to understand how institutional LGBTphobia is operationalized through the management of (in)visibilities and an LGBTphobia dogmatics.
