A historical review of the violences against women

Abstract

Violence is a strategic weapon to achieve power and the division of subjects into capital objectives. The past violence has been changing little, and now they have been magnified and expanded thanks to the invisible violence. The aim is to investigate the socio-historical-cultural aspects that influence the practice of violence against women in contemporary society. This work is based on a bibliographic and reflexive review, as a methodology used focused on the deductive and reflexive, of the different lines of feminist, sociological, anthropological and historical thinking about patriarchy and its consequences.
