Discriminatory legality and the right to sacred food

Abstract

The present article approaches the history of the limitations to the free religious expression experienced by the peoples and communities of terreiro regarding the criminalization of their practices in the Brazilian context. It is intended to understand the juridical means used contemporaneously to restrict the free religious expression of these groups, which are classified as forms of discriminatory legality.
