Children, political participation and recognition

Abstract

The article aims to substantiate the children’s right to political participation from the Hegelian theory of recognition, empirically systematized by Axel Honneth. It considers a context within which the children are excluded from the possibility of participation in the social and political spheres of influence, often becoming invisible as recipients of public policies.
