Open-access Judicialized urban conflicts: relocations in Villa 21-24

    Abstract

    The article will analyze the ways in which the intervention of justice in an urban conflict affected the practices and representations of those affected by it. For this purpose, an inquiry will be made on the specific case of the relocations of population of the Riachuelo riverbank because of the judicial sentence of the “Mendoza” case. We will frame this process in the regional and national context in which it developed.
