This study analyses the perceptions and the feelings of the parents that have seen their son's birth and also those people that never had this oportunity before. A structured instrument has been used with open and' closed questions between 138 parents in a Porto Alegre's hospital. The results showed the happiness of the parents that have seen the delivery and the wish of the people that have never had this chance. The perception and the feelings of the woman and the attendings about the father presence inside the deliveryroom have suggested some investigations about it
