Abstract:
This paper aims to reflect on the process of deterritorialization of African subjects who experienced the diaspora, choosing three texts of female authorship from the Republic of Zimbabwe, Nervous Conditions (DANGAREMBGA, 1988), Zenzele: uma carta para minha filha (MARAIRE, 1996) and Precisamos de Novos Nomes (BULAWAYO, 2014). The discussion will focus on the analysis of some characters in the books and how their experiences resulted in traumas, both psychological and physical, in observing the different perspectives of overcoming.
