Femicide and Feminicide discussing and expanding the concept

In this article, the most relevant aspects about the crime of femicide/feminicide are developed. The goal is to provide the reader with an expanded view of the phenomenon of lethal violence against women that has its origin in the unequal structures of power and cause, as a maximum consequence, death. In the text, the main proposed classifications to delimit and understand feminicides are explored, both in individual and collective forms. Special emphasis is placed on violence against women in the crime of intimate femicide. Finally, other forms of femicide are described, broadening the understanding of this category.
