Abstract:
This article reviews, based on feminist political theory, the contemporary debates on redistribution and recognition, drawing on the questions that arose during the Chilean constituent process. To this end, firstly, it reflects on the justifications for recognizing difference in the public space; secondly, it analyzes the contributions of feminist thinking to the debate within the theoretical framework of equality; and, finally, it outlines the recognition of difference in the construction of the Democratic State of Law.
