Stones in women’s shoes for distance education trails

Abstract:

This article intends to reflect on women and their entry into Distance Education, which may (or may not) present itself as a possibility of access to higher education. In order to have a more complete understanding of the objective conditions of women in the world of capitalist work, the studies by Heleieth Saffioti (1976; 1984; 2015) and Silvia Federici (2017, 2021) will be evidenced under conceptual analysis, combining data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Thus, we seek to understand the entry of women into distance higher education, finally evaluating some elements of the pandemic scenario, the super intensification of household chores, care for family members and precarious work.
