Abstract:
Journalism is an important gender technology that (re)produces stereotypes and discloses modes of conduct from an androcentric perspective. Unlike this, feminist journalism has questioned these logics and developed other practices, from feminist perspectives that define themselves as intersectional and sometimes decolonial. This text conceptualizes feminist journalism pointing out its anti-fascist, anti-racist strategies and its possible relationship with decolonial positions. From exploratory research and experiences of teachers in teaching, research and extension, the work explores especially collectives Argentines and Brazilians, identifies feminist journalism, which collaborate to resist ultra-conservative attacks, build alliances and other pedagogies and epistemologies that enable transformations in social reality.
