Abstract:
This article presents an analysis of the appreciative horizon concerning the feminine identity on an episode of the podcast Praia dos Ossos, launched in 2020. The radiofonic documental series produced by Rádio Novelo reconstitutes the life and murder of Ângela Diniz by her then boyfriend Doca Street, in 1976. The focus of analysis falls on the second episode, which reassembles the first Doca’s judgement, three years after the crime. The analysis was theorical and methodological anchored in concepts such as discourse, utterance, ideology and valuation, in Bakhtin’s Circle’s conception. The results evidenciated the axiological horizon materialized in the podcast, which enframes and re-utters another voice about the feminine identitity, under new evaluative tones, thus being suited to the discursive goal of arrousing indignation in the listener towards the other’s speech, which depreciate the subject-woman.
