Habits and socio environmental perceptions in university: physical education and physiotherapy on focus

This research, cross-sectional, was conducted by means of an exploratory descriptive research with quantitative data approach. The aim of the study was to investigate the habits and socio environmental perceptions of 132 university (teachers, students and technical professionals or volunteers) members of laboratories and research centers, linked predominantly to areas of Physical Education and Physiotherapy, in a public university State of Santa Catarina. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire adapted from instruments based socio environmental perception awareness of the Study of Environmental Perception (NEPA), Faculty Brazilian (UNIVIX, Vitória/ES). The results emphasize the importance and necessity of inclusion of different forms of socio environmental issue in the university context, in order to allow greater access to content capable of positively influencing, directly or indirectly, the health and quality of life, precious to Physical Education and Physiotherapy.
