Human trafficking in the Sacred Scripture

This article seeks to situate and understand the existence of human trafficking in the Bible based on the following aspects: the historical-cultural context, the laws of the Biblical Israel, and the meaning of Christian novelty. The last topic brings forth elements of biblical anthropology that greatly contribute to the evolution of human kind's conscience in relation to the recognition of human rights.
