Permanent education in health and nursing work: perspective of a transformative praxis

This is a theoretical reflection which the objective to encourage readers to rethink the role of permanent education of the subject-worker health and nursing in the perspective of individual and collective development through transformative praxis. We tried to make a thoughtful articulation about principles of transformative praxis presented by the philosopher Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez with the precepts of permanent education in health and nursing work. This articulation an educational concept in favor of awareness of the subject-workers about the distinct contributions of personal, social, relational and institutional arrangements that may result from different ways of perceiving and exercise permanent education in health and nursing work.
