ABSTRACT
This article presents the trajectory of the Laboratory of Gender Studies and History - LEGH, Federal University of Santa Catarina, as well as discusses the importance of academic research collections to contribute to the dissemination of information about the period of civilian-military dictatorships of the Southern Axis. All the material collected on gender, feminisms and dictatorships in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia and Chile, has provided several analyzes, using a variety of documentary sources and enabling a comparative study based on different researches.
