ABSTRACT
In the 1960s, the issue of cultural and political resistance during the Brazilian military regime motivated intense debates and cultural manifestations in various areas of knowledge. In order to deepen the studies on this issue in the field of architecture, we chose the Architecture New Group (GAN), as a transformation in that context of deep socio-cultural transformations, when the Brazilian counterculture emerged.
