RESUMO O objetivo do texto foi realizar análise histórico-literária do livro Eu (1912) e de outros poemas de Augusto dos Anjos (1884-1914), buscando compreender os sentidos do conceito de fome e de aspectos dos hábitos alimentares. O conceito de fome foi usado sob múltiplos significados em dez poemas. A habilidade do poeta na utilização de termos técnicos da nutrição e o uso expressivo do vocábulo “carne” sugerem uma poesia engajada e antecipatória aos movimentos filosóficos e culturais do vegetarianismo, de proteção aos animais, de promoção de uma alimentação saudável e ecologicamente sustentável.

ABSTRACT The objective of the text was to conduct a historical-literary analysis of the book Eu (1912), by Augusto dos Anjos (1884-1914), seeking to understand the meanings of the concept of hunger and aspects of the eating habits. The concept of hunger was used in multiple meanings in ten poems. The poet’s skill in using technical terms from nutrition and the expressive use of the word “meat” suggest a poetry engaged and anticipatory of the philosophical and cultural movements of vegetarianism, animal protection, and the promotion of a healthy and ecologically sustainable diet.

RESUMO No contexto das comemorações do IV Centenário de São Paulo em 1954, o Prêmio Carlos Gomes foi criado para contemplar a melhor composição sinfônica com tema relacionado à cidade e sua história. Tal proposta representava bem as contradições das elites paulistas em torno do evento em relação às suas aspirações cosmopolitas cercadas de interesses locais. O presente artigo analisa o processo de organização do concurso bem como duas obras resultantes: a premiada Sinfonia n. 3, de Camargo Guarnieri, e a encomenda da Sinfonia n. 10, de Heitor Villa-Lobos. Ao colocar tais obras no contexto da construção de uma identidade paulista em torno do IV Centenário, pretende-se mostrar como a música sinfônica se relacionou com narrativas em torno do modernismo local e reproduziu narrativas coloniais sobre a cidade.

ABSTRACT In the context of the celebration of São Paulo’s IV Centenary, the Carlos Gomes Prize was created to recognize the best symphonic composition based on the city and its history. Such a proposal well represented some of the paulista elites’s contradictions regarding its cosmopolitan aspirations blended with local interests. This article analyzes the organization of the competition and two resulting works: Camargo Guarnieri’s Symphony no. 3 and Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Symphony no. 10. In connecting both works within the project of constituting a paulista identity, the article shows how symphonic music related to the local modernism and reproduced colonial narratives about the city.

RESUMO Este artigo discute as intersecções entre gênero, etnia e patrimônio cultural a partir do caso dos povos indígenas do Oiapoque (AP). Analisa-se a atuação das indígenas mulheres como agentes de memória e criação de alternativas econômicas. A reabertura do Museu Kuahí e a trajetória da Associação de Mulheres Indígenas em Mutirão exemplificam como práticas culturais e organização política se articulam para a preservação de saberes. As indígenas mulheres costuram narrativas coletivas que transitam entre passado e futuro, projetando novas formas de resistência. O estudo revela o protagonismo feminino como eixo da continuidade e da reinvenção das culturas indígenas no Oiapoque.

ABSTRACT This article discusses the intersections between gender, ethnicity, and cultural heritage based on the case of the indigenous peoples of Oiapoque (AP). It analyzes the role of indigenous women as agents of memory and creators of economic alternatives. The reopening of the Kuahí Museum and the trajectory of the Association of Indigenous Women in Mutirão exemplify how cultural practices and political organization are articulated for the preservation of knowledge. Indigenous women weave collective narratives that move between the past and the future, projecting new forms of resistance. The study reveals female protagonism as the axis of continuity and reinvention of indigenous cultures in Oiapoque.

A partir de um diálogo libertador, amoroso e transformador, atravessado por lentes decoloniais, translíngues e transculturais, espera-se visibilizar e resgatar as solidariedades dos existires, visando ao fomento da justiça social na educação linguístico-literária ampliada.

ABSTRACT In homage to the 70th anniversary of Grande sertão: veredas, this essay aims to establish a dialogue between João Guimarães Rosa’s masterpiece and Pedagogy of the oppressed, Paulo Freire’s masterpiece. Through a liberating, loving, and transformative dialogue, and through decolonial, translingual, and transcultural lenses, it is hoped to make visible and reclaim the solidarities of existence, aiming to foster social justice in expanded linguistic and literary education.

RESUMO O texto “L’initiation sexuelle de la femme”, de Simone de Beauvoir (1949), que consta na biblioteca do escritor João Guimarães Rosa (IEB/USP) e guia a presente proposta de leitura e análise comparada, ambienta a atmosfera na qual o escritor mineiro esteve mergulhado anos antes da publicação do seu único romance, Grande sertão: veredas (1956). O objetivo é focar nas aproximações entre as proposições filosóficas e de gênero de Beauvoir e a elaboração da personagem Diadorim, lançando um elemento “inédito” ou muito pouco abordado no conjunto da fortuna crítica de Guimarães Rosa: como a escrita de Beauvoir reverbera no romance Grande sertão: veredas.

ABSTRACT The text “L’initiation sexuelle de la femme” (1949), by Simone de Beauvoir, which appears in the library of the writer João Guimarães Rosa (IEB/USP) and leads to the present proposal of a comparative reading and analysis, sets the atmosphere in which the Minas Gerais writer was immersed years before the publication of his only novel, The devil to pay in the backlands (1956). The objective is to focus on the existing approximations between Beauvoir’s philosophical and gender propositions and the elaboration of the character Diadorim, launching an element that is “unprecedented” or very little discussed in Guimarães Rosa’s critical fortune as a whole: how Beauvoir’s writing reverberated in the novel The devil to pay in the backlands.
