Open-access Disseminated histoplasniosis in patients with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS): study of 25 cases

We point out the importance of histoplasmosis as an opportunistic infection in patients with HIV. O envolvimento mucocutâneo estabeleceu o diagnóstico de histoplasmose disseminada em 68% dos casos. Destacamos a importância da histoplasmose como infecção oportunística em paciente HIV positivo. Unitermos: Histoplasmose clássica; SIDA; Histoplasma capsulai um var. capsulatum. SUMMARY Twenty five cases of disseminated histoplasmosis in patients with AIDS are presented.
